1) Tony Cragg at Glass Museum<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Until August 21st, 2022, the Glass Museum in Murano will feature an exhibition on Tony Cragg and his artistic vision. The works on display, about forty in number, retrace the most critical stages of the English artist’s career and include six assemblages, large-scale historical works where Cragg accumulates groups of objects. The sculptures, some previously unseen, created in Studio Berengo, explore the British sculptor’s relationship with glass and how this material has appeared in his work. Co-hosted by the Fondazione Musei Civici di Venezia, Tony Cragg: Silicon Dioxide is the artist’s first solo exhibition on Murano Island. Glassmuseum<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

2) Lucio Fontana and Antony Gormley at Olivetti Store<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Venice Art Biennale 2022 offers many opportunities to discover hidden places in Venice, with ancillary events to the International Art Exhibition’s main exposition. One of these is an exhibition dedicated to Lucio Fontana and Antony Gormley, which takes place in the Olivetti Store. Luca Massimo Barbero is the curator of the exhibition, which brings together drawings by Lucio Fontana, made between 1947 and 1968, and a series of drawings and works on paper illustrating the work of Antony Gormley. Beyond the drawings, there will be sculptures by both authors, in dialogue with the space of the Negozio Olivetti. Olivettistore<\/a><\/strong>

3) Joseph Beuys. Fine Limbed<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Palazzo Cini Gallery, the house-museum of patron Vittorio Cini, reopens to the public with the exhibition ‘Joseph Beuys. Fine-Limbed’, dedicated to one of the most influential artists of the 20th century.

4) Anselm Kiefer at Doge’s Palace<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Through Oct. 29, 2022, the Doge’s Palace in Venice is hosting an exhibition on Anselm Kiefer, with paintings created explicitly during 2020\/2021. Tied to the celebration of the 1,600th anniversary of Venice’s foundation, Kiefer’s installation takes up the seal of a title taken from the writings of Venetian philosopher Andrea Emo: [Questi scritti, quando verranno bruciati, daranno finalmente un po’ di luce] “[These writings, when they are burned, will finally give some light.” The cycle of paintings created specifically for this exhibition unfolds in the magnificence of the Sala dello Scrutinio [Scrutiny Hall], in close confrontation with the thirty-three monumental canvases on the ceiling, thus emphasizing the role of contemporary art in thinking about universal themes. 5) Fondazione Querini Stampalia<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Through November 27, 2022, the Querini Stampalia Foundation is hosting a triptych of exhibitions curated by Danh Vo and Chiara Bertola, in collaboration with White Cube.
