Palazzo Franchetti, a Venezia, dedica una mostra a Lee Miller e Man Ray, a cura di Victoria Noel-Johnson. Fino al 10 aprile 2023, sar\u00e0 possibile vedere oltre 140 fotografie, oggetti e video, sia dell\u2019artista poliedrico, sia dell\u2019ex-modella e fotografa di moda, che fu anche fotoreporter, nella Seconda Guerra Mondiale. Di s\u00e9, Lee Miller, infatti, diceva: \u201c\u2018Preferisco fare una foto che essere una foto\u201d. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tra gli anni Venti e Trenta del Novecento Pablo Picasso, Dora Maar, Max Ernst, Cocteau, E.L.T. Mesens, Eric Lepape, Leonora Carrington, Eileen Agar, Roland Penrose, e Man Ray - grande amore e amico di Lee Miller - formavano un circolo di artisti che diede origine al surrealismo, in cui erano evidenti le contaminazioni creative tra le diverse correnti artistiche. Le immagini testimoniano la vivacit\u00e0 del periodo. \nLa mostra offre l\u2019opportunit\u00e0 di conoscere il periodo storico, tra contesto bellico e moda, e di approfondire le dinamiche delle interazioni d\u2019arte. Un\u2019opera in particolare, \u201cPortrait of Space\u201d, con la zanzariera sfondata che apre verso l\u2019infinito, ispir\u00f2 Magritte per \u2018Le baiser\u2019.
