Timeless Time ran until the end of this August at Palazzo Bonaparte in Rome. This exhibition was a journey through the iconic and timeless shots of photographer Vincent Peters presenting a selection of black-and-white works in which light plays a leading role in defining the emotions and telling the stories of the subjects and their intimate ability to reflect beauty. Christian Bale, Monica Bellucci, Vincent Cassel, Laetitia Casta, Penelope Cruz, Cameron Diaz, Angelina Jolie, Gwyneth Paltrow, David Beckham, Scarlett Johansson, Milla Jovovich, John Malkovich, Charlize Theron, Emma Watson and Greta Ferro are just some of the personalities whose portraits were on show at Palazzo Bonaparte. The photographs were taken by Vincent Peters, who used impeccable lighting to elevate the subjects to a position that often transcends their celebrity status. Vincent Peters and curator Maria Vittoria Baravelli propose a constant and intense dialogue in which the photographs question each other; an image manages to ignite and detect something about the photograph next to it.
