Flavors of the earth and forest at De’ Minimi, a Michelin-selected restaurant located within the luxury hotel Villa Paola in Tropea. The great biodiversity that characterizes the Calabrian territory is reflected in the richness and versatility of seasonal raw ingredients. In harmony with natural cycles, the land regains its centrality in the autumn menu. The tasting paths created by Chef Emanuele Pucci are infused with new flavors, incorporating key autumn ingredients harvested just a few kilometers from the Costa degli Dei: truffles from Pollino, chestnuts and porcini mushrooms from the Serre mountains, pomegranates and pumpkins from the garden, and herbs from the fields. Among the tasting menus offered, we find “Miseria e nobilt\u00e0,” created to enhance the humble ingredients of ancient Calabrian cuisine, and the “Di necessit\u00e0 virt\u00f9” menu, designed to reflect on the importance of minimizing waste, both food and otherwise.
