In September was awarded the Ferrari Monza SP1 from the Prancing Horse. The ‘Red’ was in fact awarded for the third time the prestigious Compasso d’Oro ADI Award for industrial design. Designers, critics, historians and journalists thus motivate the victory of the Monza SP1, delivered to Flavio Manzoni, Chief Design Officer and Jane Reeve, Chief Communication Officer: … for its ability to project itself into the future safeguarding its memory and without falling into vintage”.

The limited edition Ferrari single-seater evokes the typical atmospheres of sporting races of the 1950s, delivering a V12 engine with 810 horsepower to collectors and fans of the Prancing Horse, which reaches 100 km / h in 2.9 seconds and 200 km / h in 7.9 seconds reaching the maximum speed of 300 km / h. The structure is characterized by an upper and lower shell which seem united, connected, while actually the one above oscillates thanks to a shaped element that separates the two parts. The ‘naked’ look is given by the front headlights and the side air valve. The naturally aspirated V12 engine is the first with controlled ignition to benefit from the direct injection system at 350 bar. www.ferrari.com
