Fashion designer Antonio Grimaldi founded the brand with the same name in 2010, after background experiences in the Gattinoni atelier and 10 years with the Grimaldi Giardina brand. Antonio Grimaldi’s creations feature strong sculptural lines, architectural asymmetries, and intricate modern embroidery, with curved and airy shapes that make the garments unique in his style. The pieces create lightness on elegant silhouettes while embracing haute couture cuts and techniques. The result is a style with a strong identity, instantly recognizable.

The F/W 2022/2023 collection, presented at MAXXI in Rome, is a tribute to the icons of Roman haute couture; a reminder of the 1950s and the atmosphere of the ‘dolce vita,’ with dresses inspired by the tradition of the great Roman couturiers. The 33 dresses in the collection are floor-sweeping gowns and mini dresses with asymmetrical cuts. The color palette includes several pale but electric, fluorescent shades that alternate with black and white, colors typical of Roman cinematography. Lapels on the neckline and back are the leitmotiv of the collection. The star fabrics are taffeta, cady crepe doubled with gazar, to give structure to the dresses, and soft organzas.
