A new friendly smartphone
The first phone from the newly formed British company Nothing has finally hit the market. Phone (1) is an Android smartphone featuring the soft curves of continuous edges, a series of rear LEDs that function as notifications, charge markers, and filler lights when taking photos. Thanks to the transparent case, the rear LEDs create a light pattern that becomes a distinctive graphic sign of the brand, which Nothing calls the “Glyph interface.”

The case is made of 100% recycled aluminum, and the plastics come from 50% biopolymers or recycled plastics. The 120 Hz, flexible OLED display is 6.55 inches in size; the screen is protected by a Gorilla Glass 5, which is the same glass used on the back as well; the screen comes with a top-quality pre-applied protective film. Finally, a highlight of Nothing Phone (1) is the camera, 50 megapixels, which allows for high-quality photos and 4K video. Nothing.tech
