Interior design according to Luca Guadagnino

By the fire, a setting at Milan Design Week 2022

After several experiences as an interior designer, designing private homes for clients such as Federico Marchetti, founder of Yoox Net-a-Porter Group, and some stores for brands such as Aesop or Redemption, director Luca Guadagnino’s studio, presented an interior design project, at Milan Design Week 2022. By the fire, the set design curated by the director with Stefano Baisi and Eleonora Grigoletto from his team, includes two specular rooms inspired by the work of Carlo Scarpa.

The décor according to Luca Guadagnino is elegant, of the typical elegance of the 20th-century masters, with classic materials and bold colors. Coffee tables of black granite and red travertine with a zigzag pattern, rugs by La Manufacture Cogolin, glass sconces by FontanaArte, technical fixtures by DeltaLight, and ceramics by artist Francesco Simeti are perfectly set, with walls and ceilings covered in pleated gray velvet. The two living rooms also feature two fireplaces, one in Ceppo di Grè, the other in multicolor ceramics. Completing the design are wood paneling, in palm and oak, conveying all the Italian craftsmanship. Studiolucaguadagnino
