Dresses trompe l 'oeil are the result of a dynamic process where the Maison's codes are turned inside out to create new dynamics of soft and patinated textures. Asymmetries and volumes give the tailored wardrobe geometric textures and movement, unveiling layers of craftsmanship and bare skin flashes. Celebrating the distinctive features of FENDI materials, double-sided (and reversible) cashmere, processed leathers and jacquard silks are brightened by silver, indigo and purple disc shades. Thus enhancing an understated palette that alternates between shades of taupe, oats, shade earth, mocha, mauve, lavender, dark blue and black.
Wrapping outerwear alternates with sensual knitwear and unstructured shirts, blurring the boundaries between utility and deception. Coats and ponchos in ribbed cashmere closed with O’lock zips, knitted waistcoats show the shoulders; flowing trousers and draped skirts, double-breasted jackets and coats, fringed hems with tramblant metal appliqués that offer purity and rigour.
