Triennale Milano and Memphis Milano present Memphis Again, an exhibition directed and curated by Christoph Radl to be held in the Triennale Curve from May 18th to June 12nd, 2022.
Discover the exhibition Aldo Rossi – Design 1960-1997
The exhibition features more than two hundred pieces of furniture and objects. They range from bookcases, partitions, display cases, toilet furniture, dining or standing tables, and coffee tables. There are also desks, chairs, armchairs, sofa beds, tables, walls, floor, ceiling lamps; and a range of objects and accessories, such as ashtrays, flowerpots, fruit containers, textile accessories, and rugs. All the pieces were made between 1981 and 1986 for the Memphis collection in different materials, woods, plastics, laminates, glass, ceramics, porcelain, silver, steel, and textiles.
In the Triennale Curve, over one hundred meters long, the objects are displayed in chronological order, like a fashion show. The viewer will be moving along the catwalk in a nightclub atmosphere, suggested by the set-up and Seth Troxler’s soundtrack.
