Natural Bitter

Liqueur

Amaro Formidabile was born from the restless research of Armando Bomba, an attentive distiller and stubborn entrepreneur, who was able to produce an artisan and natural bitter liquor with unique characteristics. Aromatic and medicinal plants such as flowers, herbs, barks, roots and fruit peels are cold steeped with grain alcohol without additives or coloring. It’s a quite long process considering the different steps that these few ingredients must undergo in order to become Amaro Formidabile. Maceration lasts approximately 21/27 days; on the twenty-second day the distiller decides whether to continue the processing or to stop and start the extraction phase. After manual pressing, a filtering process takes place at the end of which sucrose and demineralized water are added. Refinement lasts three weeks, after which it is ready for distribution.
While tasting Amaro Formidabile, which is perfectly suited to bitter chocolate, candied orange, Amaretti di Sassello and vanilla ice cream, you are enchanted by a citrus aroma first and by carnation, coriander, Rosa Damascena and artemisia later, to move on to a woody, toasted hint and to finally feel the rhubarb candy. www.amaroformidabile.com
