An exhibition at MUDEC in Milan
From September 6 to 18, 2022, Brembo presents ‘THE ART OF BRAKING. An exhibition show to discover the brake’, at MUDEC, in Milan. The exhibition, conceived and produced by Brembo and Balich Wonder Studio, is a one-of-a-kind immersive experience. It guides visitors to discover the world’s most popular made-in-Italy braking systems. So, the public can find the shapes, materials, colors, style and evolution of braking systems thanks to interactive installations and videos. The elements that make up the systems, in fact, caliper, disc and pads, express the high technology and design developed by Brembo.

The exhibition takes a fascinating journey from the company’s origins to the most critical challenges of the future, such as sustainability and electric mobility. History and products come together in an exhibition divided into eight thematic sections – origin and birth, racing, research, style, design, the world, the future – with a series of installations between the past and the future. In fact, the company is the first component manufacturer to win the Compasso d’Oro, the world’s oldest and most prestigious industrial design award, in 2004 with its carbon ceramic braking system for road cars, and in 2020 with its Formula E brake caliper. Brembo also received the Red Dot Award: Product Design 2019, the world’s most coveted and authoritative design award.
