The Art of Mosaic

A concrete interpreter of a decorative evolution. Small colorful fragments that, when composed, can turn into anything. A necessary vehicle for architects, designers and companies. Friul Mosaic, a company based in the province of Pordenone, also thanks to the collaboration of local artisans, has created projects for Cartier and Louis Vuitton. And in order not to relegate mosaic to a somewhat too traditionalist target audience, the Italian brand has turned to architect Fabio Ferrillo Belli and the new Éclats collection. “A collection designed around three evocative, contemporary and completely new themes. Three themes, nine subjects, twenty-seven interpretations and countless possibilities, each designed in two different versions and intended for the contract, wellness and residential worlds. The first is two-dimensional, more traditional, linked to the support, while the second is more contemporary, innovative, three-dimensional, and some details of the subject come to life and emerge from the wall.” Thanks to a unique palette of Venetian glazes chosen and created especially for the collection, color becomes the main star. www.friulmosaic.com
