Park Hyatt, the 5-star hotel in the heart of Milan, has just reopened after a 2-year long renovation by London-based studio Muza Lab. Park Hyatt Milan expresses the luxury of a different experience, starting with its location. The entrance, in fact, provides direct access to Galleria Vittorio Emanuele ll, the “Drawing Room of Milan,” and the Mio Lab bar offers a dehor that directly overlooks the Galleria. The entrance features the “Cupola,” a large 9-meter-high room receiving light from a large glass dome, and houses the bar with the same name. Here, tables are separated by mirrored panels, which insulate without dividing and visually expand the space.

However, it is in the 106 rooms and suites that the Mediterranean yet international spirit of hospitality is fully embodied. The rooms, in fact, feature warm materials and light colors, with oak parquet floors, travertine bathrooms, and light-colored marble washbasin cabinets that blend with the interior design. The contemporary furnishings, with some vintage elements, are enhanced by artwork curated by Milan-based Cardi Gallery. A unique fragrance, created explicitly by perfume creator Lorenzo Villoresi, welcomes guests and envelops all rooms in a delicate aroma. Guests’ stay at the hotel is enriched with the services of Aquam Spa, which offers Turkish baths, hydro-massage and showers, and skin care treatments by 111SKIN, the London-based brand exclusively in Italy at Park Hyatt Milano.
