The new Resort by Cannavacciuolo Group
The Cannavacciuolo Group’s Laqua project is enriched with a new resort, in Casanova, between Pisa and Volterra. Cinzia and Antonino Cannavacciuolo’s new resort, Laqua Vineyard, is located in a hamlet that originally housed a theater. Studio lamatilde, from Florence, designed the renovation of the spaces, which house the Cannavacciuolo Vineyard restaurant, recently awarded 1 Michelin Star, and six apartments. The six flats follow the philosophy of all Laqua Group resorts, to offer the highest level of hospitality, but with the same warm atmosphere of a home.

Each room thus has its own name, inspired by mythological love stories: Cupid, Aphrodite, Narcissus, Eurydice, Dionysus, and Penelope. lamatilde worked on the pre-existing rooms with graphics, colors and decorative objects consistent with the concept.
In the restaurant, all of the set-up elements echo the theatrical environment recognizably; in particular, the two counters, placed at opposite ends of the main room, recall two stages, one dedicated to culinary art and the other to wine.
