Course of Luxury

There is a new way of sailing. It carries the scent of fine woods, the soft light of the sea entering from every side, the refined touch of a hand that knows how to sketch emotion. It is called 42 Exuma, born from the encounter between Maiora, the Italian shipyard of the Next Yacht Group, and Elie Saab, an international emblem of sartorial elegance.

“We chose to break away from conventional approaches, redefining the balance between aesthetics, function and wellbeing on board, to place experience and quality of life at the centre once again,” states Maiora.

Outside, the signature is that of Cassetta Yacht Designers: fluid lines, transparent surfaces, proportions that dissolve the boundaries between yacht and horizon. Inside, the soul of the project unfolds — a universe shaped by ELIE SAAB Maison under the creative direction of Carlo Colombo – A++. The interiors seem to float in perfect balance between matter and light. Sculptural sofas, beds suspended like islands, tables emerging as if from the sea. Nothing is ostentatious, everything is designed to endure. Fumo di Londra and Mystic Ocean marbles, wide-planked teak, bronzed mirrors that reflect the exterior as an extension of the landscape. Every finish is made in Italy, with technical fabrics and sartorial detailing. “Our goal was not to furnish a yacht, but to craft an experience,” notes Carlo Colombo.

The layout itself redefines life at sea. Guest cabins, traditionally located on the lower deck, have been moved to the main deck, alongside the full-beam owner’s suite, offering natural light and direct access to the exterior. The upper deck is a panoramic lounge, entirely openable. The private sun deck offers 80 square metres of pure freedom.

With a beam of 8.90 metres and a top speed of 30 knots, 42 Exuma is not just a yacht. It is a poetic gesture, a dream in motion. The first unit, already sold, will be delivered in summer 2027.

The sea now speaks a new language.
