Madama Garden Retreat

Nine suites enveloped in an aura of elegance, Madama Garden Retreat, in the Cannaregio district of Venice, stands out as a shelter of comfort and charm, ready to welcome those looking for an unforgettable experience, maybe during the Biennale Arte 2024. A unique facility, surrounded by a lush garden that the most curious tourists can see by looking at the opposite side of the majestic facade of the Scuola della Misericordia or on the boats under the bridge. Designed for demanding travelers, this hotel has become a gathering hub for artists, art collectors, interior designers, information and communication professionals, and fans of the ‘sense of beauty’ the Italian lifestyle is done of. Designed, conceived and carried out by Mara De Guidi, a long-time manager in the fragrance sector, Madama has nine suites. The rooms are the result of a renovation project looked after by Mara herself, who for almost three years has taken care, in addition to the recovery of the building, of the design and construction of an engineering system to protect guests and the precious decorations from unexpected high tides. The founder has picked furnishings and decorations including wood, glass, iron, brass, velvets, silks and brocades. In addition to the physicality of the place, the owner gives her guests a lot of attention every day: from the olfactory research of the rooms, to the natural cottons of the bedlinen, to the Dyptique courtesy set available in the suites, to the custom settings of fruits and sweets, set up in every corner to delight the view and taste of the guests. madamavenice.it
