Two exhibitions, two approaches

The exhibition includes two shows, “Valentino Vago. Figure e orizzonti” on the ground floor, and “Silvio Wolf. Before Time” on the third floor. Valentino Vago and Silvio Wolf, two of the most representative artists of their generations, represent a dialogue around two different ideas of abstraction. On display, over thirty-five works wide-ranging and with a strong visual impact, expressing two different kinds of research on the Invisible, through painting and photography. These two approaches, developed through different techniques, materials, and languages, dialogue on different levels. The first is the perceptive one, looking for constant interaction with the observer to lead him beyond the visible. The other is the conceptual level, through interconnected paths in the continuous reference to metaphysical and contemplative research of space and the dissolving of the image in light and color. Modern and contemporary, painting and photography confront each other in different generational and disciplinary fields, recognizing their identity and expression in the abstract vision of reality.
