Kondo “Taka” Takahiko, Head Sous Chef of Massimo Bottura’s “Osteria Francescana” in Modena, has been appointed Co-Executive Chef of Gucci Osteria in Florence and will join Karime Lopez, currently Executive Chef of Maison’s fine dining restaurant. The two chefs, also a couple in life, recently had a baby girl, so this choice has a double, positive value.
