The Kama rug reloaded
Kama, the rug designed 20 years ago by Deanna Comellini for G.T.DESIGN, a pioneer in the field of contemporary rugs, celebrates an important birthday. “As the backdrop to Kama’s new capsule collection, we chose Villa Necchi Campiglio, as an homage to Italian architecture, art and design, a constant source of inspiration for my work,” said the designer. Consisting of a rich and dense viscose hand-woven fiber, the rug captures the light and lets it float on its textures. The mass-dyed yarn was then hand-woven on special traditional looms, in order to obtain a rug that is always unique and never the same as the others.

The capsule collection includes two new styles, Allegro a Piacere and Allegro con Brio, coming in four different nuances; Blu Notte, Paglierino, Bianco Luce and Polvere di Stelle, a reboot of the colors of the past collection. With its unique brightness, softness and depth of color, Kama lives in every space, from the living room to the bedroom, and gives light and coziness thanks to its soft, charming surface. GTdesign.it
