A new luxury hotel in Rome
The Hotel Umiltà 36, a luxury hotel designed by CaberlonCaroppi, is located in central Rome, a stone’s throw from the Trevi Fountain and Quirinale. Here, in the 1950s and 1960s, stood the cafes and hotels starring in the Dolce Vita. The building that houses the hotel is a historic building with a majestic and impressive entrance, a wide hallway with a high barrel ceiling. The very heights of the ceilings are one of the hotel’s features, along with the common areas and the grand staircase leading to the rooms.

The furnishings, too, draw inspiration from the Dolce Vita, from the elegant period lounges revisited with a contemporary twist. In fact, alongside vintage pieces, there are custom-made furnishings from the best Made in Italy brands, such as Tooy and Flos for lighting, Rubelli for fabrics, and Dedar for wallpapers. Wooden boiseries highlight the height of the ceilings in the different rooms, and at the same time add warmth and style to the interiors. The hotel offers a variety of rooms, from suites to apartments, to meet the needs of guests with an international and cosmopolitan profile. On the ground floor is an Argentine-inspired gourmet restaurant, entrusted to the creators of Milan’s El Porteño. Here the furnishings and interiors are inspired by Argentine tradition. Umilta36.com
