A new Adler by the sea
After the success of facilities in South Tyrol and Tuscany, Adler is landing in Sicily with a new resort, opening in July 2022. Overlooking the sea, next to the Riserva Naturale Orientata Torre Salsa (Torre Salsa Oriented Nature Reserve), the resort features thalassotherapy pools, a spa, ninety rooms and suites, and direct access to an eco-lido, a beach facility that respects the surrounding nature.

Designed by architect Hugo Demetz, the facility follows the principles of sustainable architecture. The materials used, in fact, are earthenware, tuff and clay, and natural stone cladding, to preserve the aesthetics specific to the area. Great attention was also paid to the choice of insulating materials, which are natural and, at the same time, efficient and energy-efficient. The energy used in the resort comes from renewable sources, and heat pumps allow for energy recovery.
The restaurant also serves local food, where possible with herbs, vegetables and fruits grown in the property’s garden, and even the wine from the Sanoner Estate’s biodynamic agriculture. All menus offer vegan and vegetarian options. Adler-resorts.com
