Born in Italy

The core of the Born in Italy exhibition is great Italian fashion, from Roberto Capucci’s sculptural dresses to Toni Campo’s photographs (Vogue), up to the collection of historical clothes of the Museo delle tradizioni nobiliari (Museum of Noble Traditions) in Palazzolo Acreide (Syracuse). Together to promote agriculture 2.0 starting from the recovery of ancient Italian native seeds and biodiversity, with a photographic exhibition (closed recently) held among the olive trees of the Parco dell’Anima in Noto, celebrating the new generation of guardian farmers. An uninterrupted dialogue between tradition, design and fashion, where the excellences that have always distinguished Italy’s material and intangible heritage were reinterpreted through the photographic lens of one of the most glamorous fashion photographers from an innovative perspective, to draw attention on Italy’s immense wealth represented by ancient native seeds. This is Born in Italy, Food, fashion, design and ancient seeds, the solo exhibition of photographer Toni Campo, curated by Alessia Montani, with the collaboration of Roberto Capucci fashion brand and Centro espositivo museale delle Tradizioni nobiliari in Palazzolo Acreide, produced by MAM.ART. The exhibition, inaugurated in Noto at Parco dell’Anima, on the grounds of the Zahir Countryhouse and the Antica Masseria Corte del Sole, was designed to be itinerant and enjoyed throughout the national territory and, more generally, in the Mediterranean area. www.mamaart.it
