Therefore, a residence, rather than a hotel, with a rather sober entrance hall, designed by the Roman set designer Paolo Bonfini. The hotel rooms are a sophisticated mix of objects, materials, and artworks, with hints of Art Deco, pieces from the Fifties and Seventies, wallpaper, and stylish boiserie. Among the favorite colors are petrol green and grapefruit red. On the walls stand out, along with other paintings, sculptures and pieces of high craftsmanship, photographs by maestro Massimo Listri. The hotel’s interiors resemble a living room, where you can truly feel the authentic pleasure of welcoming with elegance; a bar, famous for its cocktails, completes the setting.

Rooms with a view for a few guests
The nearby restaurant Adelaide, managed by chef Gabriele Muro, features the same atmosphere; a few tables are set up essentially, but with great attention to detail. A plaque on the wall pays homage to Princess Anna Maria De Ferrari Borghese, wife of Scipione Borghese, who between 1897 and 1916 transformed the building into a school and a preschool; later, the building was entrusted to the French nuns’ Daughters of the Cross, who then became the sole owners. A mission “inherited” from Princess Adelaide Borghese de la Roche Foucauld, who in 1841 founded here the First School for Poor Girls.
To complete these ambients, the external patio is a small green pole where to find shelter. The rooms and suites, each with their own character, overlook the private park of Palazzo Borghese and the gallery of the prestigious Circolo della Caccia.
