Studio Marco Piva of Milan designed the whole facility’s renovation, respecting the place’s nature. Therefore, Biancone marble from Orosei, a limestone rock quarried and processed in Sardinia with typical colors due to inclusions of fossils of shells, corals and other organisms, was chosen for several interior and exterior surfaces. With its shades, white, pink and beige, it makes surfaces lively and vibrant, and gives the ambiance a subtle sophistication that makes them even more comfortable and welcoming.
The hotel, in fact, is luxurious yet understated and essential; the interior design plays on the contrasts between the terracotta floor and relaxed furnishings, featuring light materials and colors. Spacious, comfortable seatings are covered with textured fabrics; lanterns, candles, and locally crafted objects in the rooms and common areas enhance the exclusive atmosphere. The resort also includes a spa with an outdoor pool for wellness treatments, a swimming pool with solarium, La Terrazza restaurant, and the new Bollicine Bar. Chialagunaresort.com
