The cheese factory Alta Mangiuria, located in Alife, a small town in the area of the Matese mountains, in the province of Caserta, stems from the passion and committment of Michele Mastrangelo. When he was only 20 year old, in fact, he decided to face a new challenge in the cheese business. Effort and commitment allowed him to launch his business in 2010 and to develop an innovative  production, yet always attentive and respectful of tradition. These brands stand out for the high quality of its raw materials and its formats. The milk, taken from the best farms of the near park, is collected directly by the production manager.

You can’t help but making your mouth watering in front of Oneif, the sheep’s cheese aged in hay as in the past, during the WWII, when his grandparents, to avoid theft, hid the stocks in the hay. Only later they understood that this trick could become a technique to convey to the cheese flavors and aromas that can enhance it.
